Trend micro not updating windows 8

Windows 10 users who are using the trend micro antivirus may face issues with the latest windows 10 updates (version 1809).

Microsoft has re-released this update after a pause due to some bugs.

If your product still uses the old format, you can determine if you are using the latest pattern file by looking at the middle 3 digits in the multi-digit format.

For example, pattern file 960 in the old format will be displayed as pattern file 2.160.00 in the new format.

I moved from Norton to you because Norton didnt support Vista at the time..you guys are like they were, behind..all developers have the ability to run Windows 10 creators update before release..should have worked out the bugs before it did, I know because I am a developer of software and do IT...on guys....

Hi @danielos2, Apologies for all the troubles you had from this issue.

I installed the 64bit-Version from your download center and it seeems to run without problems right now ;-)Is there a chance to get a german Version? It's nice to hear that you were able to install Trend Micro.

Although it may be a multilanguage Version, I was only able to choose between english or spanish. To change the Product Language of your Trend Micro program to German, please refer to the link below: Changing the Product Language of your Trend Micro Security If you have further questions, please let us know so that we can assist youfurther. :)Trend Micro Home Users Community Hi @andreas.linke, We understand your frustrations about this and we really do sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

So Microsoft has blocked the updates for these users. We sincerely apologize if this has caused any inconvenience but you may try to manually upgrade your Trend Micro Antivirus Security to the latest version by following the steps on this link: Upgrading Trend Micro Antivirus Security to the latest version Thank you so much for the patience and please let us know how this goes. Trend Micro Home Users Community Thank you very much for your quick reply. As you can see, I have already installed Build 1703.To know the status and update history of Windows 10. Windows stated that “To ensure a seamless update experience, we are blocking devices running the affected business endpoint security products from being offered Windows 10, version 1809, until a specific Trend Micro Critical Patch (CP) is applied.”So new update can only be applied when Trend Micro will apply the Critical Patch to its security software. If you have configured IWSVA to block certain executables, it is possible the change will block Windows Updates or other routine downloads.
