I'd also feel a lot more confident in my decision-making if I had actual numbers and statistics rather than just vague generalizations, i.e., "INTPs like designing things..." INTPs are estimated at: Independent, abstract reasoners, INTPs are often found working at the cutting edge of thought as mathematical/political/economic/etc theorists.(And more than once, too.) Or that INTPs are the type predicted to do best on I. Some of it will be great news, some of it will be disheartening news, and some of it will be just plain old weird. You're a unique individual with a unique background, and this description is simply a generalization based on statistics and averages. INTPs are not interested in everyday chitchat about coworkers, barbecues, shopping trips, etc.A relationship is a system, and we need to be able to project a strong chance of long-term happiness.(Plus, many of us have been burned in the past.We let very few people into our “inner circle,” and when we do, we have high expectations.
In true INTJ fashion, I’ve created a checklist of seven crucial items, based on input from a group of 25 INTJs. As adults, this translates to us being wary of people who don’t keep their word or follow through on plans. Any dishonesty in a system means results cannot be predicted or trusted.
